Cynthia was a First Friday member for many years. She provided resources and introduce many people to Owl Radio Reading Service for the Blind. We keep Cynthia and all who knew her in our thoughts and prayers. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Cynthia Garcia. For many years, she served in a critical role at the Low Vision Resource Center, dedicating herself to ensuring that those with vision loss had access to the support, resources, and encouragement they needed. Her endless compassion, faith, and kindness touched countless lives, and her impact will never be forgotten.

We are deeply grateful to have had the privilege of working alongside her. She was not just a colleague but a true advocate, a force of kindness, and a guiding light for the blind and visually impaired community.

Services to honor her life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11:00 to 12:00 at Alamo Funeral Chapel, 624 N Alamo St, San Antonio, Texas 78215.

Please keep her family, friends and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. 💙

Today’s Member Monday goes out to our President, Jennifer, with Redefining Home Real Estate Brokerage!

Jennifer Wilson is a seasoned real estate agent with a legacy deeply rooted in the industry. With 18+ years of experience under her belt, Jennifer embodies a tradition passed down through generations; her mother, a real estate agent since the 1980s, and her grandmother, also an esteemed agent. Although Jennifer works with buyers and sellers in all stages of their life, Jennifer's expertise lies in catering to a specific niche: home sellers over the age of 55 seeking to transition into retirement communities or downsize their living spaces.
